Kurt Schroeder is walking the ‘Way of Saint James’ from Rome, Italy, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The whole trip is about 2000 miles and it will take him 3 months to walk.
With this pilgrimage he is fundraising for ‘Dzherelo Center’ in Lviv, Ukraine. He will send us reports from his trip regularly. We will publish his reports and pictures in the ‘Diary’  on our webpage.

15.02.09 Great send-off at the Ukrainian-Catholic church in Rome
On Sunday, Febr. 15th, Kurt Schroeder was sent-off  during a mass at the Ukrainian-Catholic Church St. Sergio and Baccho in Rome.  The Ukrainian priest, father Mykhajlo, blessed Kurt and wished him much success for his pilgrimage. The choir and the parishioners sang the church hymn ‘Mnohja lita’ (which means they wish him God’s blessing and many happy years ) for him. After mass the parishioners had the opportunity to talk to Kurt and learn about his project. Then the Ukrainian church choir invited Kurt for lunch and sang some songs for him.
